Oh how I love this city! I spent the entire day walking around Greenwich and Soho today with the sunshine outside, I ate delicious Pad Thai for lunch and sat in a park eating the one and only Magnolia Bakery cupcakes. Yum! Of course it was a shopping day too, more on that later! I have been using the
DK Top Ten travel guide to New York City as it covers each area individually and is amazingly helpful with it's miniature maps of each area. There were so many people out enjoying the sunset on the walk back to the hotel that it almost felt like summer and there was even a queue to the hotel rooftop bar.
Something completely random that I noticed today... I didn't see any women with their hair up in a top knot or bun. A high bun is my go to hair style for travelling as I can't stand having my hair in my face and I get super hot when it's down. But there were none, I walked all day and did not see a single one. So very different from London.

Ah... my favourite area! Sounds like you enjoyed. You must try Molly's cupcakes next time you're there - it's on Bleecker, near 6th ave - you can design your own flavours and they are absolutely divine!
