Le Relais de Venise

I've just come home from one of the most amazing dinners I think I've ever had.  As a belated birthday celebration 2 friends took me out for dinner to Le Relais de Venise in London on Marylebone Lane.  We had to queue out the front for 30 mins although while we waited I opened one of many fabulous presents, more of which will come in a later post!  Once seated we were told of the set price menu and indulged in a bottle of red wine, moments later a delicious green salad with mustard dressing and walnuts appeared.  Then for our main it was steak and chips and although it doesn't sound like the most extravagant meal it was incredible!  The waitress asks how you like your meat cooked and a butter soft steak fillet arrives with an abundance of chips- delicious!  Dessert is as you would imagine... mouthwatering.
